Aardvark Theatre: Non-profit theatre company based in El Paso. The company presents both contemporary works and classics.

Austin Shakespeare Festival: Austin-based festival that produces free performances of the Bard's works, both in public venues and in school tours.

Ballet Austin: This Austin-based international dance company, founded in 1956, is one of only three professional ballet companies in Texas.

Dallas Symphony Orchestra: Web site of this century-old orchestra, featuring concert information, artist biographies, and historical information.

Fort Worth Dallas Ballet: Professional ballet company that presents performances in both Dallas and Fort Worth.

Houston Grand Opera: Web site of Houston's world-class opera company, which performs several operas annually in its stunning home at the Wortham Center. The company has established international renown with its presentation of traditional operatic repertoire as well as many world premieres.

Houston Symphony: Founded in 1913, this world-class orchestra performs more than 200 performances each season under the direction of music director Christoph Eschenbach.

Pocket Sandwich Theatre: Dallas' variation on the dinner theatre, which features original musicals and concerts.

State Theatre Company: Austin's first fully-professional Equity theatre company. The company hosts a theatre school and provides outreach through in-school visits by its acting company.

Subterranean Theatre Company: Local theatre company, founded in 1988, which produces original plays as well as non-mainstream previously-produced dramas.

Texas Actors Theatre: Newly-formed theatre company located in Fredericksburg, Texas, which produces a variety of shows, from classics to contemporary comedies and dramas.

Theatre Under the Stars: Houston-based Equity theatre company that produces several musicals each season. TUTS is the largest not-for-profit musical theatre producing organization in America.

Zach Scott Theatre Center: This Austin, Texas-based professional theatre company produces shows year-round.
